Michael Brickner Obituary
Michael R. "Mike" Brickner, 51, of Tiffin, passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, at Mercy Health - St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
Mike was born Aug. 25, 1972, in Tiffin, to Eugene Jr. and Judith (Brickner) Brickner.
Mike's survivors include his father, Eugene Brickner Jr. of Tiffin; children, Brent Brickner of Tiffin, Samantha Brickner of Tiffin, Lucas Brickner of Columbus, Michaela Hass of Republic, and Dakota Patterson of Columbus; two stepchildren, Lindsay Whited of Michigan and Sara Anway of Tiffin; four grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene "Buddy" Brickner III and Francis Sean Brickner, both of Tiffin; and three sisters, Heidi Brickner of Tiffin, Dodi Capehart of Fostoria, and Elizabeth "Liz" Behm of Tiffin.
Mike worked at Ameriwood Industries and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tiffin. Mike was also a member of Tiffin Knights of Columbus and the Eagles. He was an avid Notre Dame and Cleveland Browns fan.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Brickner.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. A Rosary will be recited 30 minutes before the service. Visitation for family and friends will be 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. There will be a Rosary recited at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services Thursday at St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
