Michael A. "Mike" Miller

Michael A. "Mike" Miller, 69, of Tiffin, a grand carpenter, built his stairway to Heaven after passing away peacefully Wednesday morning, June 21, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born March 12, 1954, in Tiffin, to Earl G. and Rosemary C. (Welly) Miller. He married Jane F. Orians on April 4, 1975, in Carey.

They were blessed with three children, Tony (Lori) Miller of Tiffin, Joshua (Crystal Fleming) Miller of Grove City, and Michelle (Jeff) Shaffer of Pickerington; six loving grandchildren, Noah, Riley, Zoey, Violet, Evan, and Emily. He will be greatly missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, John and Ron Miller.

Mike was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and 1972 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School. He worked with his father for many years as a roofer around the area and retired from Seneca Window & Door. Mike was an amazing carpenter and could always be found in his workshop making, restoring, or refinishing unique items. He enjoyed looking for those special treasures and tools at garage sales, fishing, riding around in his golf cart, and trips to the casino. Mike was a member of Knights of Columbus and enjoyed bowling. He loved spending time with his family and teasing them meant everything.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2023, at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Matthew Rader officiating. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.

Friends may visit and share stories with the family from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
