I lived my entire childhood across from Millie & Louie. Millie & my mother were close friends raising their children on Gross street and were in the same couples group- the Nifty Fifties. I spent 2 wonderful hours with Millie last October and she shared with me her upbringing in Fremont, her post high school studies and how it wasn't the norm for women to work after high school as most were married but she loved her job and thought it was important for women .. until she met Louie who was a wonderful and kind man every day of their life.. then she loved raising her children more than anything! I'll always treasure my time with Millie and remember the words she shared with me that beautiful day in October 2022. My most heartfelt condolences to the entire Lee family. Paula Bernard
