Nancy Jane Bloomfield

Nancy (Renfro) Bloomfield, 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Sunday, March 3, 2024, after a courageous battle with terminal lung cancer and other complications.

Nancy was born March 6, 1959. She entered the world with a determination that would define her life. At the age of 18, she embarked on the journey of marriage and raised four children, Timothy Rohrbach (Jennifer), Micheal Rohrbach (Marisa), Joshua Rohrbach (Brooke), and Elizabeth Burk. Nancy cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, finding immense joy in the laughter and love shared with her grandchildren, Olivia, Gabriella, and Ezra.

Throughout her life, Nancy faced many challenges with resilience and perseverance. Though her path was marked by struggles, she approached each obstacle with unwavering strength and resolve. Her family remembers her as a woman who always did her best, even in the face of adversity.

Nancy had a passion for simple pleasures, finding solace and fulfillment in the kitchen. Whether it was canning foods, cooking hearty meals, or baking delicious treats, she poured her heart and soul into every dish she prepared. Her culinary creations were a testament to her love and generosity, bringing comfort and joy to all.

In addition to her dedication to her family and her love for cooking, Nancy was known for her spirited personality. She was never shy in challenging others and speaking her mind, but her intentions were always rooted in love and a desire to protect those she cared for most.

Nancy is survived by her devoted husband, Ollie (JR) Bloomfield; children, grandchildren, and stepchildren; and siblings, Patricia Perry (Boone), Roger Renfro (Anne), Pamela Renfro, and Jody Ditmars. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of strength, love, and resilience will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Nancy's celebration of life will be 4-10 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Camden Falls Reception and Conference Center, Tiffin. Nancy's memorial service will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Eagle Creek United Baptist in Parkers Lake, Kentucky.
