Nancy Taylor Obituary

Nancy Ann Taylor

Nancy Ann Taylor passed away peacefully the morning of Friday, May 24, 2024, at her home on Petit Jean Mountain, one week short of her 73rd birthday.

Nancy was born June 1, 1951, in Tiffin, to Donald and Carmella Corthell. Nancy graduated from Calvert High School in 1969 and Kent State University in 1973, the same year that she married Joel Taylor, who survives her.

She is also survived by her children, Zachary Taylor and Jennifer (Steve) Janis; four granddaughters that were Nancy's favorites, Ruby and Sophia Janis and Anoushka and Georgia Taylor (their mother, Marta Taylor, also survives); brother, Ron (Laura) Corthell of Illinois; three sisters, Joan (Chuck) Webster, Beth (Felicia) Corthell, and Ann (Steve) Pamer, all of Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Jan (Bob) Mays and Juli (Tom) Foley of Florida; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles, and nieces and nephews.

Nancy spent most of her working career alongside her husband, Joel, running their law practice in both Little Rock and Morrilton. Nancy retired in 2015 and enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, and being on Petit Jean Mountain.

Nancy requested that there be no service, but wanted a gathering, which will be September 22, 2024, on Petit Jean Mountain.

So sad and full of sympathy for the passing of Nancy. We were all so lucky to grow up on Parkview Drive. As a kid, I thought of Nancy as a kind princess. My condolences and love to her dear family.
