Natalie B. (Beck) Reinhart
Natalie B. (Beck) Reinhart, 92, of Fostoria, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Elmwood Nursing Home in Fremont.
She was born April 22, 1932, in Vanlue to the late Claude and Lea Jene (Ayers) Beck. On August 2, 1952, she married Marvin Reinhart at Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, and they shared a loving life together until his passing September 9, 2015.
Natalie is survived by her four children, Michael (Jan) Reinhart of Peoria, Illinois, Karen (Steve) Wilson of Buda, Texas, Janet (Tom) Daney of Sylvania, and Teresa (the late Jim) Huth of Fostoria. She was a devoted grandmother to 10 grandchildren, Angie (Pete) Renneker, Missy (Josh) Ansel, Aaron (Julie) Reinhart, Luke (Sandra) Wilson, Cassie (Scott) Buth, Blake (Lauren) Daney, Clay (Mary) Daney, Paige (Michael) Rechtin, Maggie (Ryan Liston) Huth, and Molly (Mikey) Womack; and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Max (Gladys) Beck of Watton, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Norman, Terry, Norma Jene McCoy, Margaret Rice, Marlene Lanker, and Connie Bird; and two infant siblings, Ronnie and Ruthie Beck.
A devout Catholic, Natalie was a faithful member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church. She was actively involved in the Catholic Ladies of Columbia, Circle of Mercy (Honorary Life Member), Rosary Altar Society, and Daughters of Isabella, and she dedicated much of her time as a festival worker and supporter. She lived her faith daily and led by example, instilling strong values in her family.
Beyond her church involvement, Natalie was a member of the Red Hat Society and Fostoria Garden Club, where she received an award for her beautiful gardens. She was also an avid bowler and took great pride in achieving perfect attendance.
Before her marriage, she worked as a secretary at Cooper Tire & Rubber. While raising her family, she also worked as an Avon and Tupperware representative. Natalie's passions included gardening, baking, canning, sewing, bowling, camping, and traveling. She and Marvin explored Hawaii, Europe, and destinations throughout the U.S. She will be remembered as a loving, nurturing, and energetic woman who cherished the relationships she built with her children, extended family, and many friends.
Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Hoening & Son Funeral Home, 133 W. Tiffin St.,
Fostoria, Ohio 44830, where a Vigil Service will take place at 5:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2025, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Cemetery, with a luncheon to follow in the parish hall.
