Nona Smith Obituary

Nona J. Smith

Nona J. Smith, 76, of Tiffin and formerly of Clyde, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025, at The Courtyard at Tiffin.

She was raised in Tiffin and later moved to Punta Gorda, Florida, and most recently resided in Clyde.

She was the daughter of the late Richard A. and Mary R. (Zimmerman) Porter. She married Willis "Bill" Arnold in 1968 and later divorced. She then married James Smith in 1994, and he preceded her in death in 2011.

Nona is survived by her children, Vincent (Julie) Arnold, Zachary (Andrea) Arnold, and Jamie (Justin) Marsh; grandchildren, Colin Arnold, Shelbie (Derek) Kneeskern, Aaron (Alyssa) Arnold, Benjamin Arnold, Lydia Arnold, Ashby Marsh, and Quinn Marsh; and a brother, Ronald Porter.

Burial will be private at McPherson Cemetery in Clyde.

Memorial contribu-tions may be made to Bellevue Senior Center, Heartland Hospice or The Courtyard at Tiffin.

Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
