Norma Reedy Obituary

Norma J. Reedy

Norma J. Reedy, 88, of Port Orange, Florida, formerly of Tiffin, died at 1 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2026, at Port Orange Nursing and Rehab.

Norma was born November 1, 1937, in Lima, Ohio, to Owen W. and Helen V. (Compston) Snyder, Sr. She married Wayne A. Reedy, May 2, 1970, and he died November 21, 2003.

Surviving is a sister, Josephine R. Hunter, of Port Orange, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, Owen W. Snyder Jr., Richard H. Snyder, Jack O. Snyder; and two sisters, Alice J. Snyder, and Virginia H. Snyder.

Norma had worked as a nurse's aide at St. Francis Rehabilitation Center, Green Springs, was a member of First Lutheran Church and Kiwanis Manor Senior Citizens, both of Tiffin. Moving to Florida in 2007 to be closer to her sister Josie Hunter, Norma lived at Port Orange Nursing and Rehab for many years, was always checking in on people that were sick or that she had not seen for a while, helped with the activities, and was president of the Residents Council for many years. If any resident had anything they wanted to discuss, they went to her. Norma loved living there and being close to her sister.

There will be no visitation. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2026, at Fairwell-Retreat Cemetery, Republic. Arrangements by TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, 419-447-3113.

Memorial contribu-tions may be made to the The Parkinson's Foundation.
