Patricia L. Heilman

Patricia L. Heilman, 83, of Tiffin, passed away at 6:55 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2022, at her residence.

Patricia was born Sept. 13, 1938, in Cromers, to the late Cletus and Garnet (Hoover) Hammer. She married Richard Heilman and they divorced. She then married the love of her life, Donnie Heilman, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fremont, on April 6, 2002, and he survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include her children, Pamela Whitman of Fremont, Dominick (Cindy) Heilman of Tiffin, Peter (Sherrill) Heilman of Kansas, Lucy (Paul) Kutscher of Tiffin, Paul (Denise) Heilman of Findlay, Dennis Heilman of Tiffin, David Heilman of New Mexico, Kent (Erin) Heilman of Tiffin, Jennifer Guttenberger of Virginia, Matthew (Anna) Heilman of Michigan, Andrew Heilman of Green Springs, Dee (Lane) Hemfield of Marion, Ron (Linda) Dye of Fostoria, and Dawn (Scott) Hinkle of Fremont; 27 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Patricia was a retired Medical Transcriptionist and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fremont. She was a member of Old Fort Flames and a Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed gardening and spending winters in Texas.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Christa Heilman; two sons-in-law, Keith Whitman and Gregg Guttenberger; stepson, Randy Dye; grandson, Baron Guttenberger; and sister, Darlene Gaietto.

The family would like to thank ProMedica Hospice, and Nikki, Emily, Amber, and Kathy for all their tender loving care they gave to Pat during their time spent with her.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont, with the Rev. Krzysztof Kardzis officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. Burial will be at Pleasant Union Cemetery at a later date.
