Patrick Sauber Obituary
Patrick A. Sauber, 68, of Fostoria, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at his home.
He was born January 4, 1957, in Fostoria, to Thomas C. and Patricia A. (Burris) Sauber.
Surviving are five brothers, Thomas Sauber, Nicholas Sauber, Mark (Chelsea) Sauber, Tim (Jana) Rhoads and Doug (Elix) Hansen; three sisters, Judy (Ron) Hartley, Angela Provino and Pam Eatherton; and stepmother, Patricia G. Sauber.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert J. Sauber.
Patrick retired from Consolidated Biscuit in McComb and worked at Foster Duck Farm on 199 in Fostoria. He was part of the family at New Life Family Worship Church in Fostoria and was a United States Air Force veteran who served from 1975-1979. Patrick enjoyed the simple things in life, especially sitting by a campfire, fishing and telling stories. He was always willing to help, including supervising many projects, and he was proud of his 15 years of sobriety. Patrick's motto was that he loved God, family, country and his cat, Dartanian. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
His memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2025, at New Life Family Worship Church, 800 Columbus Ave, Fostoria, Ohio 44830, with Pastor Wyatt Foster presiding. Military honors will be conducted by United Veterans of Fostoria Honor Guard. Arrangements are being handled by HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830.
Memorial contribu-tions are suggested to the church or Heartland Hospice.

I remember Pat and the whole Sauber family from Maple St. back in the '50s. We lived next door to their grandparents. Maple St. was a great place to grow up. The Saubers were part of the fun. My condolences to all Pat's loved ones. Hoping good memories keep you all together in Love.
