Patrick Swickard Obituary
Patrick Swickard, 64, of Alexandria, Ohio, passed away surrounded by loved ones Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, at his home. He was born June 6, 1958, in Fremont, Ohio, to Randall and Beverly (Hoffman) Swickard.
Pat grew up in Fort Seneca, where many life-long friendships began. He attended Old Fort High School where he met his wife, Juanita (Molyet) Swickard. These high school sweethearts were married June 30, 1984. During their 38 years of marriage, they raised three wonderful daughters who were Pat's pride and joy. In recent years, he became "Papaw" to Caroline and Ellis Walsh, and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby Boy Fowler.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Dr. Courtney (Daniel) Walsh, Amanda (Tyler) Fowler, and Jamie Swickard; sister, Lisa Swickard; brothers-in-law and and sisters-in-law, Cindy (Michael) Hoke, Ed (Carrie) Molyet, Maria (Tim) Whidden, Chris Molyet, Marty (Steve) Williman, and John (Jane) Molyet; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and an uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Paul and Eula Mae Molyet; brother, Steven Lee; and grandparents.
Pat's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, with Deacon Patrick Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, and 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
