Pedro Duque Obituary
Pedro Duque Sr., 92, of Fostoria, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.
He was born April 29, 1932, in Goliad, Texas, to Savas and Antonia (Cortez) Duque. He married Maria D. Vasquez on April 25, 1955, in Edinburg, Texas, and she preceded him in death Dec. 30, 2019.
Pedro is survived by four children, Pete (Carol) Duque Jr. of Fostoria, Mario Duque of Port Clinton, Ricardo "Rick" Duque of Fostoria, and Nora (Mike) Braun of Fostoria; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; son, Alfredo "Fred" Duque (2015); and grandson, Matt Parker (2022).
Pedro retired from Roppe Corporation in 1999 after 37 years of service.
Private family visitation and Pedro's funeral will take place at HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830, with Deacon Dave Schiefer presiding. Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.
Memorials are suggested to St. Wendelin Church, Fostoria.
