Philip Stone Obituary

Philip J. Stone, 94 of Littleton, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. 

Born in Somerville on August 7, 1928, Philip was a son to the late Anthony and Mary (Augustine) Stone. 

An avid boat lover, Philip was a lifetime member of the Port Norfolk Yacht Club in Dorchester.  In addition, he was an auto enthusiast and had a vast collection of cars. With his passion for machines, he also worked as a mechanic for Polaroid for several years. He will always be remembered for his easy-going and kind hearted personality; he would help anyone who needed a hand. 

Philip is survived by his son, Philip J. Stone, Jr. of Revere; his daughter, Anne Marie Simpson and her husband Thomas of Medford; sisters, Louise Fox of Cape Elizabeth, ME, and Joyce Halloran of Littleton; grandchildren, Thomas, Lisa and Cristina; also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Philip will be held privately at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.
