Ralph Minich Obituary
Ralph Joseph "Joe" Minich, 75, of Kansas, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.
He was born October 20, 1950, in Fremont to the late Nicholas "Mick" and Matilda K. (Nye) Minich.
Surviving is a son, Matthew J. (Cathy) Minich, Fremont; seven grandchildren, McKenzie, Marshall (Erica), Brandon, Raven, Sydney, Kendall and Jordyn; and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by brothers, Paul, John and Carl Minich.
Ralph was a 1969 graduate of Lakota High School and retired from IAC in Fremont in 2012. He also worked at Cooper-Standard Sealing Plant in Bowling Green, Seneca Wire in Fostoria and Chrysler Toledo Machining Plant in Perrysburg. He was a member of Bettsville American Legion Post 733, Kansas St. James Catholic Church and Kansas Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as Chief from 1988-1994. Ralph was also a United States Army veteran.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2025, and from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, November 20, 2025, at HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gregory A. Bishop presiding. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Millersville, where military honors will be rendered. Following the burial, there will be a funeral luncheon at Bettsville American Legion.
Memorial contribu-tions are suggested to Kansas Volunteer Fire Department or Kansas St. James Catholic Church.
