Professor Ray Wise exemplified his name; wise. He could breakdown physics concepts to reach all his students. And his concern for their welfare was shown in many ways. Personally, I would not have passed the year of physics that was required to take a registry exam to become a Medical Scientist and support my family. I wasn't his typical student, a working mother of two, then three. My favorite story was how he offered to meet me at the grocery store dairy Isle after I got off work so I could turn in homework. He let me believe he was going there too. Years later, his son, Ray, told me he never set foot in the grocery stores. I was touched by Prof. Wise's support and belief in me. May he RIP. Job well done, Sir.

My deepest sympathy to all family and friends of Rays family. I have known them since my son and their son Bill were good friends all thru high school. It was always nice to run into he and Pat at the grocery store or wherever when we always had time to stop and chat and " catch up". I know he will be missed terribly. Will be remembering all the family in prayer.
Sincerely with love
Pat Tracy and family

We have known Ray and Pat for over 60 years. Even though we moved from Tiffin to Arizona years ago, we have been fortunate to maintain that friendship. We want to express our sympathy to Pat, Bill, Ray, and family.

A great registrar who helped me immensely during my early years at Heidelberg University. Prayers for his family.
