Richard Burns Obituary
Richard Henry "Dick" Burns, 80, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away July 16, 2022.
Richard was born July 15, 1942, in Tiffin, to Edward and Helen (Baumgardner) Burns.
He is survived by his beloved sister, Carolyn Hoover; and beautiful wife, Nancy Burns, who he loved and cherished for 62 wonderful years. Together, they raised four children, Gary, Cyndi, and Denny, all of Tiffin, and Duane of Bradenton, Florida. They have 23 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Tom, Paul, Eugene, Alan, and Carol (Buck) Burns.
Dick attended St Mary's Catholic Church, Tiffin, and graduated from Calvert High School in 1960.
Dick's Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023, at St Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Tiffin. Anyone who would like to attend is invited.
A celebration of life reception will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023, at VFW Post 2858, 345 N. Twp. Rd. 91, Tiffin. Everyone who knew Dick and would like to visit and share memories is invited.
