Richard Huss Obituary
Richard Earl Huss, 90, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023, at his residence in Bluffton.
Richard was born Aug. 27, 1932, in Pemberville, to Frederick and Ethel (Goodman) Huss. He married Betty Strayer Huss on Dec. 20, 1952, and she preceded him in death Aug. 28, 2020.
Richard received his bachelor's degree from Capital University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University. He practiced dentistry for many years in cooperation with Howard Shelly M.D. in Bluffton. Richard always loved taking care of his property and being outdoors. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Richard's survivors include three children, Renee Clair of Tiffin, Eric (Jodi) Huss of Lima, and Gregory (Peg) Huss of Findlay; three grandchildren, Ashleigh (Huss) McManus, Ethan Huss, and Evan (Livi) Huss; and two great-grandchildren, Eliya and Evee Huss.
Richard was also preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Roberta Debbe.
Richard's memorial service will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
