Robert Claude Beeler

Robert C. Beeler, 87, of Findlay and formerly of Bloomville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, at The Willows at Tiffin.

Robert was born Oct. 21, 1936, in Seneca County, to Homer and Fanny (Brill) Beeler. He married Donna (Dunlap) on June 13, 1955, in Angola, Indiana, and she preceded him in death June 27, 2021.

Robert's survivors include his children, Jacqueline Kay (Jeff) Cleveland of Tiffin and Timothy Homer (Leslie) Beeler of Pueblo, Colorado; son-in-law, Bob Podach of Fostoria; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and was also loved by everyone who ever came in contact with him. He worked for Columbia Gas Company for 36 years and also farmed as well. He was a member of the Shriner's, Lions Club, was involved with the Rodeo, and drove a race car. Robert was a 1955 graduate of Bloomville High School.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Peggy Podach; grandson, Quinton Ambrose; two great-grandchildren, Reid Podach and Annalea Archuletta; two brothers, William and Ross Beeler; four sisters, Mildred Carr, Margie Fetzer, Dorothy Zeigler, and Helen Stinchomb; and son-in-law, Tommy Ambrose.

Robert's funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, Bloomville. Visitation for family and friends will be 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice Care, American Heart Association, or Shriner's Children's Hospital.
