Robert J. Williams

Robert J. Williams, 74, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, Dec. 25, 2022, at his residence.

Bob was born Feb. 6, 1948, in Tiffin, to the late Jess and Evelyn (Aiken) Williams. He married Cherie (Sauers) on March 21, 1992, and she preceded him in death June 3, 2016.

He is survived by his and Cherie's four children, Kelly (Tim) Williams Kennelly of Waterville, Becky (Matt) Williams Soder of Hudson, and Kim Fisher and Jeff Lonsway, both of Tiffin; nine grandchildren, Abby, Jessie, Maddy, Brooke, Brandon, Kelsie, Tanner, Chelsea, and Jordyn; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Jim Williams of Modesto, California.

Bob was owner and operator of Williams Temporary Services in Tiffin. He was a City of Tiffin Zoning board member, member of American Legion Post #169, 1966 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, and 1970 graduate of Heidelberg College. Bob enjoyed golfing and spending time with family and friends. He was proud to call Tiffin his home.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brother, Dick Williams.

Bob would want everyone to remember the good times and know that he has been re-united with his best friend, Cherie.

There will be a celebration of Bob's life at a later date. Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting family with arrangements.
