Robert E. Woods

Robert E. "Bob" Woods, 73, of Upper Sandusky, died at 4:03 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at home.

He was born May 29, 1950, in Kenton, to Donald and Jane (Mitchell) Woods, and they survive in rural Forest. He married Rhonda (Vent) Woods on May 13, 1983, and she survives in rural Upper Sandusky.

Robert is also survived by a daughter, Lisa (Kent) Reinbolt of Bascom; two grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla Reinbolt; and brother, Dale (Deb) Woods of Delaware, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kip Woods, who died May 12, 2011.

Bob was a quality engineer for National Machinery, Tiffin, for 35 years where he retired. As a child, he attended Big Oak Methodist Church, rural Forest. He graduated from Riverdale High School in 1968.

He was a 40-year life member of Upper Sandusky Elks Lodge # 83, member of Amvets Post # 777 in Upper Sandusky, social member of Sycamore American Legion Post # 250, former member of Upper Sandusky Moose Lodge # 1093, and member of Stone Crossing Golf Club in Upper Sandusky where over the years, played in a lot of leagues and golf events.

For hobbies, Bob loved to put out a big garden and be on his computer. He loved to travel to casinos in the area. The Ohio State University football team, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Lions were his favorite sports teams. Every summer Bob looked forward to going to Apple Valley for vacation and golf.

At Bob's request, he just wanted a private graveside service with burial at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.
