Rocky Walters Obituary
Rocky E. Walters, 69, of Green Springs, and formerly of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024, at Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.
He was born April 5, 1955, in Tiffin to the late Robert Eugene and Patricia Ann (Conner) Walters.
Rocky proudly served in the United States Army in the early 1970s in Germany. He was employed in Fremont as a housing manager for many years. He was an avid football and basketball fan. Dallas Cowboys were his favorite. In his spare time, he enjoyed keeping up with sports and spending time with his family.
Rocky is survived by his children, Jacob (Keri) and Leslie Walters; five grandchildren; his siblings, Terry Walters, Julia (Faron) Hicks, Ruth Tyree, Madeline (Rick) Tyree and Kevin Walters; many nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives.
At Rocky's request, cremation will take place. A memorial service and military honors will take place at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2024, at Grace Community Church, 900 Smith Rd., Fremont, Ohio 43420. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, Ohio 44870, is assisting the family with arrangements.
