Ronald Mark "Ron" Bogner

Ronald Mark Bogner, 87, of New Riegel, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Edgewood Manor, Port Clinton.

He was born May 23, 1938, in Reed Twp., Ohio, to Henry and Helen (Ball) Bogner. On December 10, 1971, he married Edith Peck.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Bogner of Port Clinton; son, Timothy Mullins of Georgia; daughters, Carolyn (Mark) Holmer of Attica and Mellanie (Tim) Halker of Columbus; sister, Linda Hahler of Willard; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Marion, Melvin, Donald, James, Paul and Joseph; and sisters, Betty Swartzmiller, Shirley Slosser, Mary Halcomb, Carol Bogner, Margaret Carp and June Bogner.

Ron was a 1956 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon. After high school, he served in the United States Navy for six years. He retired as an inspector from Whirlpool. Ron was a hard worker, enjoyed taking a drive around the countryside, loved to play cards, especially euchre and was very family-oriented. He loved his family and extended relatives.
