Ruth Ann Carnahan

Ruth Ann Carnahan of Tiffin passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023, at her home.

She was born Jan. 2, 1949, to Ray and Lela (McConnell) Neikirk. She married Ron Carnahan and he survives in Tiffin.

Ruth Ann's other survivors include a son, Christopher Seville; and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Tayden, Christopher Jr., Lyric, and Jordan. Many nieces and nephews survive that will miss their Aunt Ruth whom they loved dearly because of her loving heart and sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and four sisters, Doris Hoerig, Laura "Babe" Powell, Nancy Bowers, and Sandra Bowerman.

Ruth Ann attended Scipio Republic High School and graduated from there in 1967. She worked as a Respiratory Therapist at Respiratory Therapy Division, LRH, until her health forced her to retire early. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tiffin.

Her favorite comment when asked how she was doing was "I'm living the dream." Her positive attitude, sense of humor, faith in God, and love of family was always evident, even until her last week of life.

There will be a memorial service for family and friends of Ruth Ann on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tiffin. Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. and the service will start at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Block Cemetery.
