Ruth Miracle Obituary
Ruth Ann Miracle, 88, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Mercy Health - Tiffin Hospital.
Ruth was born April 20, 1936, in Tiffin, to William Lester and Leota Ruth (Smith) Doll. She married Charles E. "Curly" Miracle on June 15, 1957, and he preceded her in death in 2001.
Ruth's survivors include two sons, Lynn C. (Laura) Miracle and Brian L. Miracle, both of Tiffin; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Doll of Indiana; three sisters, Sarah Elder of Virginia, Shirley Doll of Indiana, and Jeanette Elsasser of Kenton; and good friend, JoAnn Purnell of Tiffin.
Ruth worked as a dry cleaner and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a 1954 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Scott E. Miracle; brother, John Mills; and two sisters, Wilma Johannsen and Mary Lou Krick.
Ruth's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2024, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will be 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be held Monday at Seneca Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
