Ruth Ann Vogel

Ruth Ann Vogel, 73 of Fostoria, passed away Saturday July 2, 2022, at her home.

She was born Dec. 16, 1948, in Vanlue, to the late Robert and Iris (Lawless) McKean. She married Michael Vogel on Nov. 22, 1975, at Hope Lutheran Church, and he survives in Fostoria.

Ruth is also survived by nieces and nephews, Lorrie (Roger) Wolfelt of Fostoria, Debra (Gary) Bartchlett of South Carolina, Mark (Crystal) Wonderly of Fostoria, and Michael Bartchlett of Fostoria; great-nieces and great-nephews; and sister-in-law, Linda (Jack) Bartchlett of South Carolina. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Rose Marie Wonderly; and brothers-in-law, James Vogel of Port Clinton and Duane Vogel of Cygnet.

Ruth Ann was a graduate of Fostoria High School, class of 1966. She worked at Mr. B's Drycleaners and Honeywell (AutoLite) where she retired after 30 years of service. She loved her pets, doing jigsaw puzzles, and word searches. She also enjoyed traveling to many places in the United States with Michael, including going on cruise ships.

Private family burial took place at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Wood County Humane Society, Bridge Hospice Care Center, or Fostoria Sharing Kitchen, in care of the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline Street, Fostoria.
