Sally Ann Stoner

Sally A. Stoner, 78, of Fremont, passed away Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born June 28, 1945, in Fremont, the daughter of Norman I. and Avis M. (June) Wolf. She married William E. Stoner on June 27, 1995, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She was a 1963 graduate of Ross High and worked for Prudential Life Insurance and Croghan Colonial Bank, retiring after 22 years in 2007.

Sally was an avid walker and a sun worshiper. Upon retirement, she enjoyed wintering in Tampa South, Florida, with her husband. She was a proud supporter of Fremont Ross Athletics and ensured that she was there for her grandchildren and great-granddaughter's events.

Sally is survived by her husband, Bill of Fremont; daughter, Kristy (Richard Jr.) Martin of Fremont; grandchildren, Connor and Bailey Martin; great-granddaughter, Averie Trevino; sister, Sue Wolf of Fremont; sister-in-law, Joan Crilly Stoner of Tiffin; nieces, Linda (Pete) Auger and Michelle (Chris) Tschanen; and numerous additional nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Richard Wolf, Lee Wolf, Jim Wolf, and Bill Wolf.

Sally will be remembered for her infectious laugh, beautiful smile, and piercing blue eyes. She never met a stranger!!

A celebration of life will be planned in the future. Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to Fremont Ross Athletics or Sandusky County Cancer Care Fund.
