Sandra George Obituary
Sandra K. George, 82, of Palmetto, Florida, and formerly of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025, at HCA Florida Blake Hospital.
Sandra was born March 8, 1943, in Tiffin, to the late Earl R. and Caroline (Palmerton) Digby.
Survivors include her daughter, Tracy George of Florida.
Sandra worked as a loan officer for Bank of America, Tiffin Savings, and Commercial Bank, both in Tiffin. She was a member of First Christian Church and a 1961 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. Sandra also loved her birds and all her other animals. She will be remembered for her green thumb and she was able to grow many orchids throughout her life.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Hazel Scalf, John Digby, Tom Digby, Dolores Wells, Jake Digby, Jim Digby, and Rich Digby.
Graveside services for Sandra will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Fairmont Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made to Seneca County Humane Society. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.shookfamilyfh.com.
