Sandra L. Schriner

Sandra L. Schriner, 76, of Attica, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at her residence.

Sandra was born Oct. 9, 1946, in Tiffin, to the late Marvin Sr. and Dorothy (Walton) Courtad. She married Paul R. Schriner on Nov. 30, 1968, at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and he preceded her in death Feb. 16, 2010.

Sandra's survivors include her children, Jacqueline Reyes of Findlay and Julie (Michael) Strasser of Granville; four grandchildren, Trevon Reyes, and Haley, Cayden, and Colton Strasser; two brothers, Marvin Courtad Jr. of Attica and Dennis (Terri) Courtad of Bucyrus; brothers-in-law, Eldon (Janet) Schriner of North Oaks, Minnesota, and Paul Houck of Bucyrus; and sister-in-law, Erma (Robert) Cook of Tiffin.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister-in-law, Lois Houck.

Sandra worked at Sutton Bank and as a farmer's wife. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Attica, 1964 graduate of Colonel Crawford, and earned her Associates Degree from Tiffin University in Executive Secretarial. Sandra enjoyed doing word search puzzle books and most of all, spending time with her family, friends, and grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2023, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Attica, with the Rev. Joseph P. Joseph officiating. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2023, with a Rosary being recited at 3:30 p.m. at Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, Bloomville. Burial will follow services Monday at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Attica.
