Scott E. Evanoff

Scott "Ten Bucks" Evanoff, 60, of Tiffin, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 16, 2023, at his residence.

Scott was born May 28, 1963, in Tiffin, to Steve Evanoff Jr. and Peggy (Adkins) Evanoff.

Scott is survived by his siblings, Bobby (Jane) Evanoff, Patricia Helms, Ralph Evanoff, Karen Mata, and Paula (Joseph) Granata; nieces and nephews, Chris and Brad Mata, Mason and Cooper Rathburn, Rebecca Evanoff, Kelly Goodwin, Robbie Evanoff, Nick, James, and Louis Meyer, and Raymond, Nikki, and Tommy Helms; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and cat, Mary Lou.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents; and sister and brother-in-law, Donna (Nick) Meyer.

Scott worked at various places, most recently at Wal-Mart, which was more of a social gathering than a job for him. There wasn't anyone he wouldn't stop and talk with.

More than anything, Scott enjoyed fishing with his fishing buddies (nephews) and watching his Dallas Cowboys, Michigan Wolverines, and professional wrestling. He also enjoyed going to flea markets and ending his day with a cold beer while listening to rock 'n' roll music.

Scotty always had a smile on his face and no one was ever a stranger to him.

He had the biggest heart and would help anyone he could. He would truly give you the shirt off of his back.

Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, 2023, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. There will be no funeral or burial at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Seneca County Humane Society.
