Steven Krenisky Jr.

Steven Krenisky Jr. died Sunday morning, June 2, 2024, at Elmwood at The Shawhan.

He was born Oct. 10, 1942, in Waterbury, Connecticut, the son of Steven Krenisky Sr. and Olga (Volchuck) Krenisky. He married Denise (Dee) Zeffiro on June 16, 1984, in Avon, Connecticut.

Steven is survived by his loving wife, Dee Zeffiro-Krenisky of Tiffin; and A. Mark (Virginia) Zeffiro, Deborah (Michael) Stevens and many sweet, kind, and considerate nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Steven will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Aldo (Elizabeth) Zeffiro; sister, Beverly Wojtusik; and brother-in law, Julian Wojtusik.

Steven was a graduate of Bryant University. After graduation, he worked for General Motors, where he retired from after 30 years of dedicated service. In his spare time, Steven loved to putter around the house and yard, enjoying many camping trips with dear friends all over the country. He was always surrounded by his dogs and he loved them greatly. After retirement, he spent winters camping in Florida where his deck became to daily afternoon happy hour – a place that all were welcome.

Steven's funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2024, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, (419) 447-2424.

Visitation for friends and family will be 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

A special thanks to the entire staff at Elmwood at The Shawhan who cared for Steven and adored the man that he was. Additionally, a tremendous thanks to the staff of Southern Care Hospice who admired and cared for him.
