Teresa Anne Laube

Teresa Anne Laube, born May 23, 1961, in Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, in her hometown.

A cherished member of her community and a devoted family woman, Teresa will be remembered for her loving spirit, joyful personality, and her passion for caring for others.

Teresa dedicated many years to working in daycare from her home, where she impacted the lives of many children and their families. She was also an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin, where her faith played an integral role in her life. A proud graduate of Central Catholic High School, class of 1978, Teresa carried with her the values instilled in her during her formative years.

An enthusiastic cook, Teresa enjoyed creating meals for her family and friends, often gathering them around the table for warmth and connection. Her love for animals, particularly horses and dogs, was evident as she treated all living beings with kindness and care.

Teresa leaves behind a loving family who will miss her deeply. She is survived by her son, Chase Conine and his wife Brynn, her son, Jon Conine and CJ; father, David Laube; mother, Kathleen Laube; and her siblings, Patrick Laube and his wife, Kari, Christopher Laube and his wife, Maggie, Laura Galvin and her husband, Tim, Linda Szych and her husband, David, Angela Mechling and her husband, Aaron. Teresa was also a proud grandmother to Carter Conine, Kylaa Conine, Charley Conine, and Johnnie Conine; and a great-grandmother to Micah.

Visitation will be from 11-2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Northwest Toledo. Her funeral service will follow the visitation, starting at 2 p.m. and concluding at 3 p.m., at the same location.

Teresa Anne Laube's legacy of love and joy will continue through her family and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her passing leaves a void that will be felt by many, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
