Terry Summerhouse Obituary
Terry loved to travel and filled his years with adventure, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the world around him. He was known for loving fiercely, working diligently, laughing loudly, and traveling widely-leaving a legacy of warmth and vitality felt by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his son, William Summerhouse; his father and mother William and Mary Ellen Summerhouse; his brother and sister Dennis Summerhouse and Irene Hamilton.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Summerhouse, daughters Michelle Shove (Cameron) and Denise Summerhouse; son Todd Summerhouse; and grandchildren Jacob, Madelyn, Noah, Lillian, J, and Stevie.
Celebration on life services will be Saturday, November 22nd at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church 8021 W. 21st Street, Wichita KS, 67205.
In lieu of flowers donations to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church would be welcomed.

Dr. Summerhouse was the best doctor for me ever! He helped me in so many ways and helped me understand whatever I was going through which was a lot at that time for me. His compassion, caring and understanding was so appreciated.He also saw some of my other family members until he retired. Deeply sorry for the loss of a great person & Dr. Prayers for his family.

A good man. He was my late Husbands Dr. for several years. He also saw my Daughter a few times. She'd had some issues and he showed us the x-ray and pointed out the problem, said she had FOS. It was hilarious ! We never forgot him.

Dr. Terry was the nicest dr. I ever worked for. He was a bit of prankster. He gave me the confidence to not give up, I was fresh out of medical assistant school except for a brief moment at a Orthopedic clinic. He didn't take himself to seriously. I will always remember his patience and his laughter. He will be missed.
