Therese Marie Clouse

Therese Marie (Chudzinski) Clouse, 75, of Fostoria, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital.

She was born July 23, 1950, in Fremont to the late Daniel E. and Pauline M. (Molyet) Chudzinski. She married Michael S. Clouse, and he survives in Fostoria.

Also surviving are three children, Jason Marshall, Patrick Marshall, and Michelle (Tim) Roe; stepchildren, Christopher (Amie) Clouse and Kenzi Clouse; grandchildren, Katie and Ty Marshall, Shelby, Lacey and Riley Roe; stepgrandchildren, Silas and Lukas Green, Maddie and Lucy Clouse; siblings, Anthony A. (Cathy) Chudzinski, Karen (Al) O'Neal, Mary (Chuck) Beier, Mark (Kristen) Chudzinski, Patty (Brad) Culbert, Peter (Joy) Chudzinski, Jacob (Kathy) Chudzinski, and Amy Chudzinski; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Chudzinski and an infant brother, Fred Chudzinski.

Therese was a 1968 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School, a 1972 graduate of Madonna University, where she received a BS in nursing, and a 1984 graduate of the University of Toledo, where she received a master's degree in education and supervision. She was the director at Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin, worked as an obstetrics nurse at Tiffin Mercy Hospital, and was a nursing aide training instructor at Tiffin Columbian High School. Therese was also a medical careers instructor at Sentinel Career Center in Tiffin and was a supervisor at Penta Career Center in Perrysburg, where she retired in 2010 with 30 years in education. Following her retirement, Therese was a greeter at Hoening Family Funeral Homes.

Therese was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Fostoria and enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking and traveling.

Visitation is 2-5 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2026, at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830, where a Vigil will be at 5 p.m. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2026, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, 323 N. Wood Street, Fostoria, Ohio 44830, with the Rev. Joseph Poggemeyer presiding. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery. Following the burial, there will be a luncheon in the parish hall at the church.

Memorial contribu-tions are suggested to St. Wendelin Catholic Church or The Cascades at Good Shepherd Home in care of the funeral home.
