Thomas Lee Corbin

Thomas L. Corbin, Sr., 81, of Findlay, passed away at 8:13 p.m., September 6, 2023, at his residence. He was born on August 11, 1942, in Toledo to the late Robert and Elnora (Kempher) Corbin. He married Janet Stover on June 14, 1967 and she survives.

Tom is also survived by his sons: Steve (Christie) Corbin of Findlay, Scott Corbin of Findlay, and Thomas L. "T.J." (Trisha) Corbin, Jr. of Dublin; daughter, Debbie (Kris) Langstaff of Belle Center; grandchildren: Erica, Wes, Kyle, Stephanie, Matt, Melissa, Mandy, Ella and Eli; 7 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Nola Beach of Mt. Cory; brother-in-law, Bob (Peggy) Stover of FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Corbin; sister, Martha "Louise" (Ted) Shuck; and granddaughter, Brooke.

Tom was a 1961 graduate of Findlay High School, and a U.S. Army Veteran having served our country from 1966-1969. He retired from Graham Packaging in Findlay. Tom was a longtime member of Howard United Methodist Church, Findlay, where he was a former Trustee, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Group Leader, active in Men's Group and OASIS Cook. He was also a member of the Amvets, D.A.V., Elks Lodge and was a Chopin Hall Trustee. Tom was a longtime Scout Master and and former Foster Parent.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 11, 2023, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, with Pastors Gay Blau and Marianne Higley officiating. Burial will be in Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay, where full military rites will be conducted by the Hancock County Veteran's Memorial Squad.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-5:00 Sunday at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Howard United Methodist Church, Findlay and/or Fresenious Kidney Care Creighton, Findlay and/or Chopin Hall.
