Timothy Berlekamp Obituary
Timothy B. Berlekamp, 73, of Grove City, passed away at 7:51 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023, at Ohio Health Doctors Hospital, Columbus.
Timothy was born June 26, 1949, in Fremont, to the late Rondo and Jean (Stiger) Berlekamp. He married Marilyn (Woodman) on July 25, 1970, in Lakewood, Colorado.
Timothy's survivors include his wife, Marilyn Berlekamp of Grove City; children, Matthew Berlekamp of Denver, Colorado, Brian (Alisa) Berlekamp of Tiffin, and Brittany (Rob) Malone of Tampa, Florida; two grandchildren, Sydney and Tyler Berlekamp; sister, Miriam Fankhauser of Green Springs; and aunt, Myrna Riedel of Tiffin.
During his time in the workforce, Timothy worked as an air traffic controller, farmer, Seneca County Commissioner, and eventually retired from the solid waste industry. Timothy spent five years during Vietnam proudly serving his country in U.S. Navy. He was a 1967 graduate of Old Fort High School and 1998 graduate of Heidelberg University.
Timothy's memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will be 12-2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pleasant Union Cemetery, Old Fort, with military honors at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to United Veterans Council.
