Timothy Cornett Obituary
Timothy A. "Tim" Cornett, 72, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Tim was born Jan. 17, 1952, in Tiffin, to Odis and Norma (Halcomb) Cornett, who preceded him in death. He married Rose A. (Elchert) on Oct. 1, 1971, and she survives in Tiffin.
Tim's survivors also include two sons, Timothy of Bloomville and Joseph of Tiffin; seven grandchildren, Kearston, Martina, Jessalynn, Alainna, Crimson, Austin, and Holden; and two sisters, Jennifer (Mike) Tyree of Tiffin and Denise Welch of Lexington, Kentucky.
Tim graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1970 and also served in U.S. Army with the 3rd Infantry Division from 1971-1973.
Tim learned to play guitar and his love of music from his dad. He played with the EZ-Pickens band and later turned to writing and producing his own songs.
There will be no funeral at this time.
Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.

Worked with Tim at Gaiettos Honda and always enjoyed our times together. Also his band played at my wedding and was very well liked. Miss you TC. Prayers to Rose and family.
