Timothy F. Feehan

Timothy F. Feehan, 97, of Fostoria, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.

He was born Aug. 9, 1926, in Deshler, to Timothy J. and Alice B. (Weisbecker) Feehan. He married Betty L. French on Feb. 4, 1950, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, and she survives in Fostoria.

Timothy is also survived by eight children, James T. Feehan, Donald P. (Marty) Feehan, Richard F. (Chalouy) Feehan, William D. (Kathy) Feehan, Linda T. Mora, Timothy J. (Irene) Feehan, Dennis F. (Cathy) Feehan, and Laura K. (John) Coppus; 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and brother, Bernard L. Feehan of Fostoria.

He was preceded in death by his parents; great-grandson, Joshua McCoy; and siblings, John Feehan, Carol Ann Butzier, Patrick Feehan, Kathleen Feehan, and Mary Simon.

Timothy was a 1944 graduate of Bloomdale High School and retired from Atlas Crankshaft in Fostoria in 1988 as a "Set Up" man after 32 years of service. He was an U.S. Army veteran, having served during the World War II era and was a faithful member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. He will be remembered as "The Original Tim the Tool Man."

Visitation will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2024, until the time of Timothy's funeral at 1 p.m. at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830. The Rev. Daniel J. Ring will preside. Private, family only committal service will follow at St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery where United Veterans of Fostoria Honor Guard will provide military honors. When the family returns from the cemetery, they will receive guests in the Parish Hall at St. Wendelin Catholic Church for the funeral luncheon and gathering.
