Troy J. Omlor

Troy J. Omlor, 54, passed away Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, in Fort Myers, Florida.

Troy was born Jan. 12, 1969, to Gerry L. Omlor (Bonnie) of Fostoria and Beverly J. Omlor.

He is survived by a daughter, Eve; son, Jesse of Fort Myers, Florida; siblings, Bryan (Sue) Omlor of Fostoria, Renee (Jim) Daniel of Sycamore, Bruce Omlor of Toledo, Nicole' (Tony) Farkasdi of Findlay, Kyle (Holly) Omlor of Ottawa and Matthew (Jennifer) Omlor of Middlefield; and many nieces and nephews.

Troy was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly J. Omlor.

He was a self-employed handyman working on construction of homes when available, but was hit on hard times and struggled a lot with health issues and became dependent on drugs.

Troy's body was cremated and his siblings and close family had a small gathering in his memory in Tiffin.

Troy was such a happy person when I knew him. Always polite and full of pride for his family. I moved back to Ohio in 2019 but had spoken to him a few times by phone after that. He always remarked how much he loved his family, Mother and children. I was really sad to see this notice, late, God Bless him.
