Victor Anthony "Vic" Wurm

Victor Anthony "Vic" Wurm, 90, a lifelong resident of Tiffin, died at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Elmwood at The Shawhan, Tiffin.

Born August 30, 1935, in Crawford County, Ohio, to Alphons John and Rose (Ruffing) Wurm.

He married Marilyn K. Boner, January 5, 1957, at St. Mary Catholic Church. She preceded him in death January 30, 2009, after 52 years of marriage.

Vic is survived by his companion, Jane Boehler; two sons, Randy (Jill) Wurm of Delaware, Ohio, and Timothy Edward Wurm of Tiffin; two daughters, Victoria Miracle of Tiffin and Andrea (Tim) Ball of Tiffin; six grandchildren, Ashley King, Rachel Keenan-Wurm, Andrea Wurm, McKenzie Fleurima, Austin Ball, and Madison Ball; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Holmer of Attica and Lucille Mirtis of Bellevue.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Clement, Arnold, Robert and Bernard Wurm; a sister, Agnes Depinet; and a daughter-in-law, Carol Wurm.

Vic grew up locally and graduated from Chatfield Village High School in 1954. He was inducted into the Buckeye Central Hall of Fame for basketball. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He worked for many years as a superintendent for Alvada Construction and previously for Kirk Bros. Construction and Focht Bros. Construction. He was a man of strong faith and a hard worker.

Family and friends may visit from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.

His funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2025, St. Mary Catholic Church, officiated by the Rev. Jesse Chick. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
