Virginia was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Upper Sandusky. Raised on the farm, she developed a strong work ethic early on and especially loved milking cows alongside her father-a cherished bond that made her a true daddy's girl. That same determination and deep-rooted love for the land stayed with her throughout her life. Ginny was a go-getter and a homebody all in one. Ginny poured her heart into her home, her family, and her garden. She was happiest with her hands in the soil or in the kitchen, where she was known as an excellent cook and baker. No one ever left her house hungry, and everyone felt the warmth and care she wove into everything she did.
Ginny was very family-oriented and full of love. Ginny's family, especially her grandchildren, was her pride and joy. She deeply treasured time spent with her siblings, especially during their get-togethers, which were always filled with laughter and stories. Whether she was working in her yard, tending to her flowers, or simply enjoying the peace of home, Virginia lived with purpose and grace.
Her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for those closest to her leave a lasting legacy. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who had the joy of knowing her.
Visitation for Virginia will be from 9 a.m. until time of her Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Stombaugh-Batton & Snyder Funeral Home, Carey, with Pastor Loran Miracle, officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey.
