Walter Jordan Obituary
Walter Harry Jordan, 65, of Fredericktown, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
He was born Sept. 21, 1956, in Tiffin, the son of James and Carol (Jordan) Losey. He was a 1974 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School and 1978 graduate of Tiffin University.
Walter was raised as a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tiffin, before moving to Fredericktown and joining St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He worked numerous years for Webster Manufacturing, Tiffin. In his spare time, Walter enjoyed working on models, cheering on Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, Ohio State Buckeyes, and working in the church gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Kenna (Scheidegger) Jordan; three children, Kenna (Jason) Levans of Tiffin, Walter B. "Brad" (Rachelle Darrah) Jordan of Danville, and Jessica Jordan of Fredericktown; three grandchildren, Andrew Levans of Florida, Skylar Jordan of Fredericktown, and Jenna Levans of Tiffin; sister, Leslie (Ron) Leonard of Tiffin; sister-in-law, Amie Jordan of Tiffin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Walter was preceded in death by his birth parents; adoptive grandparents, Carl and Lillian (Rex) Jordan; and brother, Carl Jordan.
Walter's Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 303 E. High Street, Mount Vernon, 43050. Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Tiffin.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High Street, Mount Vernon, with a Rosary to follow.
Memorial contributions in Walter's name may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for the maintenance fund.
