Wayne A. Kapp

Wayne A. Kapp, 85, residing in Norwalk, passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2024, at Twilight Gardens after a lengthy illness.

He was born April 30, 1939, in Republic to Myron and Grace (Hackman) Kapp.

Wayne graduated from Republic High School. He was employed as a boilermaker and worked at various lumber yards. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing.

Wayne is survived by his daughters, Diane (David) Deno of Sandusky, Debbie Mart and Lynda Destin both of Moody, Texas; sons, David Kapp of Columbus, Ohio, and Kevin (Karen) Geisel, of La Vernia, Texas; brother, Paul (Kathy) Kapp of LaGrange, Indiana; ex-wife, Arlene Fiesel of Tiffin; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by brothers, Franklin and Robert; sisters, Dorothy and Edna; and wife, Joan Kapp.

His visitation will be from 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2024, until funeral services begin at 11 a.m. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Cremation will then take place, and burial will be at a later date at Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin.
