Wayne William Myers

Wayne William Myers, 82, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026, at his residence.

Wayne was born September 16, 1943, in Fremont, to the late William Arthur and Betty Jane (Binkley) Myers. He first married Kathleen M. (Smith), and she preceded him in death. He later married Linda M. (Alford) in Clyde, June 15, 1985, and she survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include his two daughters, Amy Myers and Heather Curtiss, both of Clyde; four grandchildren, Tyler Stout, Kiana Curtiss, Austin Curtiss and Katelyn Gomez; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dave (Penny) Myers of Espyville, Pennsylvania.

Wayne retired from Clyde Whirlpool after 39 plus years. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and playing solitaire on the computer. Wayne was a United States Navy veteran who served during the Cuban War, a life member of Clyde VFW and Tiffin AMETS, and a member of United Veterans Council Funeral Honor Guard.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Kathleen M. Smith.

A Celebration of Wayne's life will be from noon - 2 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2026, at Tiffin AMVETS. A military honor guard service will begin at noon Friday at Tiffin AMVETS, rendered by United Veteran Council. Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting family with their arrangements.
