Add a Memory
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, on February 10, 2025, at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Lisa (nee Johnson) Schulte his high school sweetheart. Loving father of Matthew Schulte (Brittany Palmar) and Elisabeth Schulte (Brian Gensrick). Proud grandfather of Eleanor Schulte & Baby Gensrick. Cherished brother of Michael, Paul, & Peter. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and many good friends.
A proud graduate of Shorewood High School and UW Stevens Point, he started his career in the wine industry. For the next 20 years he developed an expansive knowledge of fine wines which he enjoyed sharing with others. Bill then joined Robertson Ryan Insurance in 2001 continuing in his father’s and brother’s footsteps. He was highly involved in the industry holding various board and committee positions. Bill was passionate about providing excellent service to his clients with the help of his exceptional staff.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bill was a skilled 5.0 tennis player, and avid hunter and fisherman. He loved traveling the world with family and friends and lived to create lasting memories with them. His passion for the outdoors and sense of adventure will be missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Bill’s life will take place on Saturday, March 1, from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at Feerick Funeral Home, 2025 E. Capitol Dr., Shorewood, WI 53211. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, www.schlitzaudubon.org/get-involved/donate/ or to a charity of your choice.

I was so saddened to hear of Bill’s passing and extend my deepest sympathies to his family. I shared many laughs with Bill over basketball and youth center sheepshead during our high school days. He had such an uplifting spirit! While we lost touch over the years, whenever we did randomly run into each other, he always greeted me with genuine warmth. May the memories of Bill always serve as a blessing.

To the Schultz family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Bill was a classmate of mine. Whenever I saw Bill, which may not have been that often, he was always so upbeat and positive. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to celebrate Bills life on March 1st, but please know that I’ll be there in spirit.

Bill was the most kindhearted caring man. He always welcomed us into his family and was so happy to have Brittany as his Daughter in Law. When Eleanor came along it brought so much joy in his heart. He loved teaching her tennis. Bill was a great fisherman. One weekend he took our family to Uncle Mike's cabin up North and helped me land 3 Muskies. One night he took Diane down to the basement and taught the art of archery. Bill always lead a meal with a prayer and stated his greatfulness for all present. We had many fun gathering at his home and he will be truly missed by our family. James and Diane Palmar

Bill was my classmate, my college roommate and he was, "My bestest buddy Billy." We did so much together in high school and college. He was always living life to the fullest. He married Lisa, loved her and smiled when he talked to me about her. I am so sorry that I will not be able to make his celebration of life. Bill, you will be missed. Prayers to Lisa and the family. Your friend, Bano.
