William Carter Obituary
William Fredrick "Bill" Carter, 76, of Tiffin, passed away at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023, at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
Bill was born Nov. 30, 1946, in Toledo, to Fredrick and Martha (Rouch) Carter. He married Pamela (Woessner) on Dec. 15, 1980, in Tiffin, and she preceded him in death Feb. 19, 2009.
Bill's survivors include his children, Todd (Marie) Carter of Tiffin, Tony (Teresa) Carter of Tiffin, Jill (Phil) Reuter of Tiffin, Fred Carter of Tiffin, Jodi Swanigan of Tiffin, Shawn (Selena) Stagnolia of Toledo, and DeEnda (Shane) Botton of Tiffin; 27 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ed (Becky) Carter of Tiffin and James (Diana) Carter of Republic.
Bill was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed his time spent hunting, fishing, camping, and the time spent with his family. He was an active member of the Avenger's Motorcycle Club - "AFFA, LADA."
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Melissa Warwick; sister and brother-in-law, Nina (Beagle) Johnson; grandson, Scooter Neff; granddaughters, Tessa Lundy, Carissa Carter, and Shae Carter; and mother-in-law, Carolyn Woessner.
There will be no services at this time.
Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society of the donor's choice or to Lou Gehrig's Foundation.

My condolences to the entire Carter family...Bill was a great man an absolute icon if you will...quite possibly one of the funniest human beings id ever had the pleasure of knowing...he will be missed for sure...my heart goes out to Todd Tony Fred Jill Jody DeEnda & Shawn...i love y´all...brother Rock
