William Davis Obituary
William F. Davis, age 91, of Cedar Lake, IN passed away April 9, 2025. William is survived by his children, Bruce (Kim) Nichols of Jamestown, TN; Robert (Diane) Nichols of Highland, IN; Kathy (Louis) Mayden of Byrdstown, TN, and Antoinette (Paul) Horsley of St. Mary's GA; siblings, Paul (Bonnie) Davis, Ruth Nagengast, Ila Jane Buffum, and Sally
(Charles) Mitchell, all of IA; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorraine Davis; daughter, Lynn Kuiper; son, Paul Erickson; great-grandson, Austin Smitka; sisters, Betty Hartwig and Dorothy Albert; and brother, Jerry Davis.
Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, April 15 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at BURDAN FUNERAL HOME, 12901 Wicker Ave., Cedar Lake, IN 46303. Interment will be held privately at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN.
William was a US Navy veteran. He retired from Laborer's Union Local 41 after over 25 years of service. He will be deeply missed and always in our hearts. We love you, Dad!
