William Schriner Obituary

William "Bill" Schriner

Bill was born in Attica to John and Cecilia Schriner.

He graduated from Calvert High School in 1958 and entered U.S. Army soon after, spending most of his time in Germany. He was honorably discharged in 1961 and returned to Tiffin where he took a job at Sterling Grinding Wheel Co. and worked his way up to Sales Representative, being honored several times for his outstanding sales achievements.

He married Christy (Judd) Schriner in 1963 and they have two girls, Debbie Hammell and her husband Rick of Suwannee, Georgia, and Deeann Combs and her husband Danny of Cleveland, Tennessee. There are five grandchildren, ShelbI, Sessile, Shayna, Savanna, and Alex, and two great-grandchildren, Xaiden and Bralynn. Bill and Christy were married for 61 years and she survives in Cleveland, Tennessee. Bill had three brothers and three sisters who are now all deceased as are his parents.

There will be a private service for Bill at a later date in Tiffin at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Any donations can be made to Hospice or any charity of your choosing.
