William Stevenson Obituary
William L. "Bill" Stevenson, 92, of Fostoria, passed away Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
He was born Feb. 1, 1930, in Ada, to James and Hazel (Chalfin) Stevenson. He married Mary K. Musselman in 1948 in Tiffin, and she preceded him in death Dec. 2, 2017.
He is survived by two daughters, Diane (Mark Hitchings) Mankin of Fostoria and Mimi (Chris) Baxter of Woodville; son, Richard (Nancy) Stevenson of Inman, South Carolina; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara Conley of Findlay and Alice Orick of Lima.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers, Eugene and Thomas Stevenson; sisters, Betty Hirsch and Mary Duvall; and one great-great-grandson.
Bill retired from Allied Signal as a supervisor after 36 years of service. He was an U.S. Navy veteran during World War II. Bill was a member of Elks, Moose, Eagles, American Legion, and Amvets. Bill enjoyed golfing, camping, hunting, and traveling.
Bill's funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Pastor Mark Self officiating. Burial will be at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia, with military honors performed by United Veterans of Fostoria. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to Fostoria ProMedica Hospice or S.C.A.T. of Seneca County.

Bill was a wonderful neighbor. I always enjoyed our conversations and his willingness to help out anytime he was needed. We will miss Bill .

So very sorry to hear of Bill´s passing. He was a great neighbor and really good friend. He always helped my Dad and Father in Law whenever they needed a hand. I know he will be missed by many and I have nothing but good memories of Bill &Mary as a kid growing up.
