Victor Ruiz Obituary

Victor R. Ruiz, age 93, of Hancock, passed at his home with his loving family at his side on February 8, 2025
He was born February 27, 1931 in Pacana, Jalisco, Mexico. He married Helen Holmes on January 4, 1960, in Chicago and together they had three loving children, Margaret, Sharise and John.
Victor came to the Hancock area in 1959 where he was working as a laborer. This is where he found the love of his life, Helen. Victor became a well known executive chef in the Stevens Point area working for Holiday Inn. He also served his country in the Untied States Army during the Korean Conflict. His great love for serving people was evident in his support of the Waushara County Food Pantry.
Victor is survived by his two daughters, Margaret (Dennis) Bader, Wisconsin Rapids, Sharise Ruiz, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Chrislyn (Mark), and Ryan (Steph); Six great grandchildren, Monet, Alexander, Irith, Lillian, Emma, and Jude; survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one son, John Ruiz and siblings, Benjamin, Victoria, Maria, and Zepharino.
