Alicia Marcella Hearn, a bright light in the lives of many, was born on January 4, 1975, in Covington, Kentucky. She left this world too soon on March 18, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 50. Alicia’s passing leaves an aching void in the hearts of all who knew her, yet her spirit remains alive in cherished memories.
Alicia was a fun and vibrant person who embraced life with open arms. She found joy in simple pleasures and was especially fond of making crafts with her Cricut, creating beautiful soaps, and enjoying the beauty of nature. From delightful evenings around bonfires to serene days at the beach or canoeing, she loved spending time outdoors, where her laughter echoed most profoundly. Through her hobbies, she not only expressed her creativity but also brought warmth and joy to those who were lucky enough to receive her handmade gifts.
Alicia was most proud of her children and grandchildren, who were her greatest accomplishments. She often spoke lovingly about her sons, Clayton and Cooper, and her daughter, Caitlyn. Her beloved grandchildren, Cali and Chloe, brought her immeasurable happiness, and she poured her heart into creating lasting memories with them. Alicia reveled in the moments shared, ensuring that each experience was filled with love, laughter, and the special touch only she could provide.
Alicia is survived by her devoted father, Richard "Smokey" Gosney, along with her cherished children and grandchildren. She is also remembered fondly by her aunts, Lou Taylor, Mary (Richard) Vocke, Wanda Frazer, and uncles, James (Gloria) Carmack and Troy (Kim) Carmack and best friend, Michelle Martin. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends will also miss her dearly.
In her journey through life, Alicia faced both joys and sorrows. She reunites with her beloved mother, Donna Faye Gosney (nee Carmack), and her sister, Denise Hicks, who welcomed her on the other side. Though they departed from this plane of existence, their love and bond continue to resonate through Alicia's spirit.
Alicia's legacy of love, creativity, and warmth will be celebrated during visitation on March 29, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in Erlanger, Kentucky.
